Las Palmas – Gran Canaria

Well, we just about managed to pull ourselves away from Marina Rubicon and make the 96-mile journey across to Gran Canaria and into the port of Las Palmas, not a horrendous crossing, but nothing at all as predicted on the forecast. We had the wind and waves on our beam (to the side of the boat), with swells hit 4-5 metres at times, plenty of wind so we made good time, but uncomfortably rolly and the therefore difficult to relax or sleep.

So after arriving in Las Palmas and to our new home until the 11th, we checked into the harbour office, customs and finally the ARC check-in, Seth our crew arrives on the 9th, so with a few ARC seminars between now and then and a bit of Provisioning still do we should be set to leave on the 11th.
