Well, this is the end of our two weeks here at Rodney Bay Marina, on the 23rd were moving off to spend Christmas In Martinique, before returning here for a couple of days for the New Year Celebrations.
Rodney Bay is in the north of St Lucia where the ARC finishes and so with the exception of 15 boats that went to St Vincent the majority Finish here. we were middle of ARC+ pack so we’ve been here to see the last few of ARC+ (Las Palmas to St Lucia via Mindelo) and the whole of the ARC (straight here from Las Palmas) arrive and celebrate this amazing achievement.
The Marina itself is run by a great Guy Called Sean Devaux, who definitely has his finger on the button when it comes to running a marina, his team cannot do enough for you and anything you ask is “no problem” and”you’re welcome”. It has every facility here including a full-blown boatyard and a great team of services so that most issues get solved. Its also in a great location as a base to explore the rest of the island either by boat or by car.
