Well thats that, all done and dusted, were both fully qualified and ready to save the world and ourselves (first). We have both completed our Proficiency in Medical Care (STCW) on board ship, Not as gruelling as originally imagined but certainly full on!
Now to get the kit that fits the title. We have thought long and hard about what to take in the way of medical supplies, you can’t cover every eventuality, but you can have a bloody good go!
As we’re in the final stages of prep for our travels, space and weight is becoming a real premium, so hard and sometimes heated discussions are being had as to what comes and what stays, however according to Helen, this trumps all comers!
